Id imagine this could be put up for charity auction for fire loss relief and would go for absolute mint - even more so than what a classic gt350 would to for.

I think they’re just removing accelerants from the garage. The house is a lot more valuable than the car. This is not th e face of a man who gives a shit about saving a car.

The house that’s on fire is probably worth an order of magnitude more than the car. My guess is that they’re just trying to remove the thing that’s filled with gasoline from the garage. If they don’t save that house the car is toast.

The fires are very distressing.

It looks like they just pushed it down the driveway while the house burned

I don’t know, house looks doomed anyway. And by the time the fire reached the garage, all the way on the other side of the house from the fire, it definitely would be. There are presumably other cars they could be getting out of the way as well, if that were the concern.
Seems more likely to me that they are giving up on the house, but saw the opportunity to at least quickly save something of value as long as they were out there.

The house may be doomed, but the house burning helps the fire spread. And if there’s a bunch of gasoline in the house, it’s going to burn a lot hotter.
That patch of driveway is not going to save that car, es pecially since there is vegetation right behind it. Unless they plan on flatbedding it out (which they don’t), that car is toast. Of course, the owner owns a mansion in Malibu and a GT350, so I’m sure there’s no way he wants anyone to risk their lives in order to save his fully insured stuff. The insurance company, on the other hand...
